IN DESPERATE NEED OF DONATED ITEMS: ~ Winter Blankets (all sizes) ~ Metal Panels ~ Shelters ~ Heated Water Buckets ~ Farrier Services
RELINQUISHED EQUINES: In some extreme cases we purchase horses in order to save them from their current situation, but in many cases their owners are willing to hand them over to a caring home. Many owners discover that in this economy it is difficult to continue caring for their equine friends. We attempt to provide great quality care for your animals, and search for a proper long-term home for your friend. We also ask that the owner be wiling to give an intial donation towards the animals care, which isn't always possible
ADOPTIONS: We do not place adoptable horses out on a "first-come, first-serve" basis. We interview each applicant, and only place horses in homes that are willing to care for and love the equine for the rest of its life. We require that all adoptable horses remain under the ownership of Sar Shalom Stables, that way we can remain in control of their future welfare and know that no animal will be sold or re-homed without our knowledge.
Adoption fees are used strictly for the care of our rescued animals, so that we may continue our mission of saving other unwanted and neglected equines. All other funds used for their care, if not donated, come from our own pockets.
At no time do we use Auctions or Horse Traders to dispose of animals placed in our care.
We are a PRIVATE RESCUE.
