Dear “Love”,

I found a place to meet you

It is here, but so far away

I can’t remember why I loved you

I just knew you were the missing part of me

The moment we met

I knew I had found my best friend

You made me work for your love

And only gave it freely when I needed it

I wish that I was there, but I still have no regrets

I miss that way you use to speak to me with your eyes

Am I in a dream? Just imagining this disaster?

Or do I merely take advantage of the moments gone by

I can see us together, one leap at a time

You never questioned my courage

You just went along, so trusting and brave

You are the reason for my dream

And I am changed because of you

I will visit you daily in the place where you lie

Unforgetable Love

Love was the inspiration for my breeding program. She was the horse that showed the beauty of both the Arabian and the Saddlebred. She is survived by 4 beautiful foals, and one lonely friend. I will never forget her and thank God for giving me such a beautiful gift. She is an 'unforgetable' companion, a dream fulfilled, and she will forever be what holds me togethe on those weary days.

I love you, Love. You are greatly missed.
